Dora Chavarria aka Dora Raíz is a self-taught visual artist from Phoenix, AZ. Dora currently lives in New Mexico with her family.

Dora mainly creates paintings with acrylic, gouache, and ink on paper or canvas, but she also enjoys working with digital mediums and photography.

Dora draws inspiration from her desert homeland, her culture, nature and spirit.
